We are a husband and wife team with combined skill sets to provide our clients and agents a premier real estate experience. We are proud to be broker-owners of Hartman Real Estate & Company, specializing in luxury real estate purchases.

While originally from southern Missouri, we relocated to Florida following real estate careers in Washington, DC, to invest in the thriving real estate market and to help others do the same. With Brooke's experience as a real estate attorney, she provides critical negotiating power and expertise in real estate transactions. With Zain's experience in real estate development and asset management, he provides critical financial expertise to assist clients in making key financial decisions for real estate transactions. As trusted advisors for multi-million dollar sales and listings, Brooke and Zain are highly attuned to the luxury market in Sarasota and the surrounding area.

Meet Zain Hartman

Zain began his real estate career with a start-up private equity firm out of NYC where he assisted in property management and business strategy. As Zain advanced in his career, he further developed his financial analysis background by assisting in collateral review for national and global companies looking to obtain institutional lending and/or prepare private placements. He then joined a real estate development and construction company based in Potomac, Maryland with just under $1 billion in assets in the metro Washington, DC, area, where he worked as an acquisitions specialist and asset manager. Zain received his B.S. in Entrepreneurship from Virginia Commonwealth University and received his MBA with an emphasis in Finance from Missouri State University.

Meet Brooke Hartman

Brooke began her real estate career as a real estate attorney in Washington, DC, at Venable, LLP. During her time at Venable, Brooke experienced a broad range of real estate matters, including the purchase, sale, leasing, development, and financing of office, retail, residential, multifamily and mixed use properties. She assisted clients in the land planning phases of the development process securing zoning and land use approvals for developers and landowners. Brooke graduated from University of Richmond School of Law and received her B.S. in Entrepreneurship and her MBA from Missouri State University. She is a licensed attorney in Florida and Virginia, as well as a Florida Real Estate Broker.
